Senior Project Manager – SCADA & Operational Technology (OT) Systems

To support the continued growth of our Transport & Infrastructure business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – SCADA & Operational Technology (OT) Systems to strengthen our multidisciplinary team.
You will join a collaborative environment driven by technical excellence, innovation and a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects that contribute to the sustainable development of mobility and critical infrastructure systems.
Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of SCADA, supervision and control-command system projects across transport and critical infrastructure sectors, including rail, tramway, road, energy and industrial facilities.
You will be responsible for managing projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from feasibility studies and concept design through implementation, testing, commissioning and operational handover.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will ensure successful project delivery while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing technical, contractual and commercial aspects of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead complex SCADA and OT projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk objectives.
Manage contractual, commercial and financial aspects of project mandates.
Develop project execution strategies and oversee project governance throughout all phases.
Technical Leadership
Define and validate SCADA, control-command and centralized supervision architectures.
Lead the design and integration of:
SCADA and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Industrial communication networks
IT/OT architectures
Virtualized and server-based infrastructures
Cybersecurity solutions for critical systems
Interfaces with field equipment and third-party systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards and operational requirements.
Supervise system migration strategies, functional analyses and technical architecture studies.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Coordinate interfaces between project owners, operators, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders.
Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams including automation engineers, systems engineers, network specialists and SCADA experts.
Manage testing, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning and operational transition activities.
Digitalisation & Cybersecurity
Support the definition of cybersecurity requirements and system resilience strategies.
Contribute to the development of secure, highly available and future-proof operational technology environments.
Business Development
Support proposal preparation and tender submissions.
Develop and maintain trusted client relationships.
Identify business opportunities and contribute to the strategic growth of the Transport & Infrastructure unit.
Your Profile
Education
Degree in Industrial Automation, Industrial Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline (ETH, EPFL, HES/FH, ES or equivalent).
Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in SCADA, automation, control-command or operational technology systems.
Proven track record managing complex multidisciplinary projects within engineering consultancy, system integration or infrastructure environments.
Experience in transport infrastructure, rail systems, energy networks or other critical infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.

Fluent French is required.
German and/or English would be a strong advantage.
